Does the sound keep playing when I lock my phone?
Yes. It keeps playing until you pause it or the sleep timer ends. You can pause, switch sounds and see the timer from your lock screen.
It stopped playing overnight on my Android phone.
Some Android phones (especially Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus) stop apps in the background to save battery. Go to Settings → Apps → little hush → Battery and choose Unrestricted. The wording varies by phone. dontkillmyapp.com has steps for most brands.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Every sound is made on your phone, so it works in airplane mode. You only need a connection to buy or restore Hush Pro.
How loud should it be?
As quiet as works. Keep your phone at least 1 metre (3 feet) from where your baby sleeps, never in the crib, and use a volume at which you can still talk comfortably in the room.
How do I set a sleep timer?
Open the player and tap Sleep timer. Pick a length, or ∞ to keep playing. Add a fade-out so the sound softens gently before it stops. To choose what the player starts with, go to Settings → Defaults.
How do I record my own sound?
With Hush Pro, go to Sounds, scroll to Custom sounds and tap Record. Record 3 to 60 seconds of shushing, humming or a lullaby, then trim it and smooth the join so it loops seamlessly. Recordings stay on your phone. To edit or delete one, hold its tile.
The app can't use my microphone.
You may have said no when it asked. On iPhone, go to Settings → little hush → Microphone. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → little hush → Permissions → Microphone. The microphone is used only while you record.
How do bedtime and nap reminders work?
Turn them on in Settings → Notifications and pick a time. They're scheduled on your phone and stay quiet while a sound is playing, so they never chime in the nursery. If they don't appear, check that notifications are allowed for little hush in your phone's settings.
How do I add the widget?
On iPhone, long-press the home screen, tap +, search for little hush, pick a size and tap Add Widget. On Android, long-press the home screen, tap Widgets, find little hush and drag it into place.
I don't see the countdown on my iPhone lock screen.
Check that Live Activities are on: Settings → little hush → Live Activities.
What does Hush Pro include?
The full sound library plus every new sound we add, all-night playback with timers longer than an hour, and recording your own sounds. The free sounds stay free.

How do I play?
Sort all 25 words into hidden groups of 3 to 6. Tap the words you think belong together, then tap Submit. The circles at the top show how big each group is. Shuffle rearranges the board, and Deselect clears your picks. Tap the help button at the top to see "How to play" again.
What does "One away" mean?
Your selection was one word off a real group: one extra, one missing or one swapped. It still counts as a mistake.
How many mistakes do I get?
Five per level. Run out and the answers are revealed. You can try the level again with a fresh shuffle, or move on to the next one.
How does my streak work?
Finish at least one level on a calendar day, solved or not, and your streak goes up by one. More levels on the same day don't add to it. Miss a whole day and it starts again from zero. Your best streak is kept.
I think a puzzle is wrong.

I got a new phone and my progress is gone.
Progress is saved only on the phone you play on, so it doesn't move to a new phone. We don't have accounts, which means there's no copy on our side to restore.
Why are there ads?
Ads keep Linkwords free. There's a small strip at the bottom and, sometimes, a short ad between levels. To limit personalised ads, see Your choices in our Privacy Policy.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The puzzles are built on your phone. Without a connection you just won't see ads.
Billing and purchases

How do I cancel a subscription?
On iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and choose the app. On Android, open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so they handle refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or through Google Play.
I bought an upgrade, but the app doesn't show it.
Open the app's settings and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Still missing? Email us with the app name and we'll sort it out.
Does my purchase work on my other devices?
Yes, on devices that use the same Apple ID or Google account. Purchases don't transfer between iPhone and Android. Use Restore Purchase on the new device.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting an app removes everything it stored on your phone. To delete purchase records, see Deleting your data in our Privacy Policy.
